The story is set within a School , there are a number of different sub genres that are going to be used including action and mystery this is related to the mystery of the film which is in relation to what is happening after the first murder is carried out , the entire class is in panic and are not able to trust each other which spreads chaos amongst the classroom . The protagonist in the story is going to be the main factor into figuring out the mystery of what is going on and the crime that has been committed as the story progresses , more characters are being killed which affects the decision of the protagonist and their idea as to who is behind this chaos within the school , as the pieces of this mystery come together for the protagonist they are eventually lead to a final confrontation with the antagonist who's identity is figured out near the end of the story and their reason for their role in this nightmare which leads to the protagonist and antagonist getting into a confrontation with one another .
The main characters within the story are the protagonist who is the brave , smart person who is trying to solve the mystery behind the events that are occurring within the story and who is behind all of it . The antagonist's motives behind them causing all this violence is because they are trying to prevent the helper child from being kicked from the school .
Section 2
The story starts off with the teacher being murdered and everyone else trying to figure out what has just happened . As the story progresses the situation becomes worse for everyone as we see that more characters are slowly being killed off which puts more stress on the antagonist but it also helps narrow down their options as to who it could be . Eventually the protagonist is able to find out who is behind all of these events and the antagonist reveals their motive behind their actions . Todorov - the equilibrium of the story is the everything that happens before the murder of the teacher , the disequilibrium is where the murder takes place , Recognition is the fact that the other students realise that they are trapped and are in danger of the antagonist and the protagonist confronts the antagonist at the end . The re - equilibrium is the result of the confrontation where everyone is dead with only the protagonist surviving the events in the story . The story will have a non linear structure as there will be flashbacks of the LSA over hearing the conversation about the helper child and this spikes their reason to kill the teacher .

The 3 thriller conventions that are going to be used within the film are mystery, crime and suspense these conventions are going to be used in various different parts of the film in certain scenes , mystery is shown through the mystery behind the identity of the person who has killed the teacher and their motive for committing this serious crime . The aspect of crime within the story is the murder of the class teacher who is unexpectedly killed without any trace of the killer being found which creates fear amongst the class as well as creating mystery behind the murder , of who could have killed the teacher as well as their motive behind this .Suspense will be implemented in the film where the suspense behind who the killer could be this builds up as more People die as the story progresses which creates more suspense and anticipation for the identity of the killer to be revealed .
The 3 chosen sub genres that will be implemented within the thriller are mystery, action and drama. Mystery will be used in the film as its main focus will be behind who the murderer could be which spikes the attention of the other characters as they fear being killed and aiming to figure out who did this and their reason behind everything . Action is shown for the scene where the murder takes place and this progresses at the end where both the protagonist and antagonist confront each other and end up fighting each other to the death with the protagonist being the only one coming out alive . Drama is used through various unexpected moments that are within the film .
The thriller themes that are going to be used are violence and discovery these will be used within the story . Violence will be implemented within the story through the scene of where the crime takes place of the teacher being killed and most of the other characters being killed later on in the film with only the protagonist being the one to make it out alive . Discovery is played out when the identity of the antagonist is revealed at the end of the film where the protagonist finds out the identity of the antagonist and their motives behind everything .

camera conventions that will be used are high angle shots to show the reactions of characters in specific parts of the story , this is to add the aspect of mystery to the story as there is not much detail within the camera shots which doesn't provide the audience with a large number of hints of the storyline as well as the characters and their personalities . Close ups will be used within the story , to provide a more in depth view of each characters in order to gain a better understanding of their intentions and how they act within the story .
